Welcome to
Hundr was created by professional dog trainer Kurt Burk (CPDT-KSA) to solve a problem he faced in his own dog training school, Canine Conservatory, LLC. Kurt needed software that could help him connect with clients in a meaningful way — providing them with custom, step-by-step homework tailored to their individual dogs. He also wanted a way to transparently share progress with clients whose dogs were enrolled in board-and-train programs, showing exactly what was being worked on and why.
Additionally, Kurt needed a tool to help his sub-trainers stay aligned with detailed instructions for each client and dog, ensuring consistency in training. But no software existed that fit the needs of real dog trainers. Every app on the market focused on replacing trainers with generic, one-size-fits-all tutorials. That’s when the idea for Hundr was born—a platform designed for professional trainers, by a professional trainer. Hundr doesn’t replace trainers; it empowers them to stay engaged with clients, provide better instruction, and elevate the training experience.
Our easy on-boarding walks dog owners through key questions so trainers know exactly how to help clients. Get on the same page about current issues and desired behaviors.
Goals are the high level behaviors that you and your dog work on. These goals are broken into easy behaviors. Each behavior is made up of specific assignments to that you accomplish in a step-by-step process.
Assignments help to show the progress of practice. When each assignment is completed, the next assignment appears or the dog trainer is prompted to create a new one for you.
Straightforward notifications let dog owners be reminded of assignments, and keep trainers and owners in sync on progress.
